Presentation of Dynamic electric charging on motorways – the FABRIC project

FABRIC project activities were successfully presented by Guy Frémont from Sanef, during a Pavement management workshop, that was organised by Albertis, on May 22-24, 2017 at the company’s headquarters, in Barcelona, Spain. The workshop was attended by 54 experts working mostly at the road engineering, construction and maintenance sectors and coming from both from Europe (i.e. France, Italy and Spain) and abroad (i.e. Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Puerto Rico). Mr.  Frémont’s speech focused on the activities of the FABRIC project towards the deployment of Dynamic electric charging on motorways. The participants showed high interest on the subject of the presentation as they were not familiar with the electric charging system and technologies. During the discussion that followed, participants’ questions concerned mostly the cost for the construction of the electric charging system and who is expected to cover these costs, the performance of the energy transfer, etc.

The presentation is available here as a pdf.
