A FABRIC paper entitled: “FABRIC approach to FEV wireless dynamic charging and foreseen energy storage system requirements for grid impact reduction” has been presented by T. Theodoropoulos of ICCS during an IEEE Special Session focusing on Charging Technologies and Energy Storage Systems for Electric and Plug-in Hybrid Vehicles(SS4), organised in the framework of ESARS2015 at RWTH University Campus, Aachen - Germany, on 3-5 March 2015. During this session, participants discussed issues related to storage sizing for dunamic wireless charging, fast charging strategies, battery technology for heavy vehicles and energy storage systems for urban means of transport.
